  • Fr. Edwin Mwasi

    Priest in- Charge.
    St. Monica Catholic Church- Kitengela

At St. Monica’s, we are driven by a profound mission: to support and uplift those among us who are suffering under the weight of oppression—whether from people, addiction, or systemic injustices. Our goal is simple yet profound: to reach out to those in need, offering hope and tangible support as they navigate their challenges.

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
I am Fr. Edwin Mwasi, Priest-in-Charge at St. Monica Catholic Church in Kitengela. It is with heartfelt warmth and a spirit of compassion that I welcome you to our community’s outreach efforts.

Each day, we dedicate ourselves to helping individuals and families build better lives. We believe in the power of community, the strength of faith, and the importance of compassion. Our commitment is not just to provide immediate relief, but to foster lasting change and empower our brothers and sisters to reclaim their dignity and forge a path to a brighter future.

We invite you to join us in this mission. Whether you seek assistance or wish to contribute your time, talents, or resources, you are a valued part of this journey. Together, we can create a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Thank you for being here and for your willingness to make a difference. May God bless you abundantly as we work together in His service.

    With prayers and blessings,

    ALL ABOUT JESUS

    What We Believe

At St. Monica Catholic Church in Kitengela, our faith is the foundation of all that we do. We are a vibrant community dedicated to living out the teachings of Christ and embracing the values that guide our journey.

    Faith in God

We believe in one God, who is the Creator of all things, and who is revealed to us through the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our faith in God is the cornerstone of our lives and the source of our hope and strength.

    The Teachings of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the central figure of our faith. We hold fast to His teachings, which call us to love one another, to seek justice, and to live lives of compassion and humility. His life and sacrifice inspire us to follow His example and share His message of salvation.

    The Sacraments

We believe that the sacraments are a vital means of grace and a way to encounter God’s presence in our lives. The seven sacraments—Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony—nourish our faith and strengthen our relationship with God.
